What is the teacher to child ratio?
We normally have two teachers – a Polish teacher and an English teacher – permanently assigned to a standard group numbering 15-18 kids. 

What are the School opening / closing hours?
The School is open on week days from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Upon request, we can make individual arrangements for early drop-off and late pick-up. 

Is there an extra charge for late pick-up / early drop-off?
There is an extra charge for late pick-up and early drop-off. Check with the School Office for details.

How are children fed during the day?
The meals are prepared by a catering company which specializes in delivering solely to schools. A nutritionally balanced menu that considers all special dietary needs of children is prepared by a qualified dietician. Children receive extra meal servings, if they are hungry.

How does the School deal with an allergic child?
We require that parents alert us to allergies for inclusion in the child’s medical file and our on-line data base. Such information is used to prepare an allergy plan to be followed by all teachers and caregivers at the School.

Parents of children suffering from a food allergy are required to present a medical specification and to provide detailed information about the allergy in the Child Registration Form. The dietary needs of such children are discussed with the parents prior to enrollment and expectations on both sides agreed at the time of signing the Contract for provision of educational services. Our cooks can undertake to prepare meals for children with special dietary needs only on the basis of a medical specification issued by a certified physician.

Can teachers give medicine to children?
Our teachers and associates are prohibited from giving medicine to children. We can make an exception only with regard to children suffering from chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes.

What happens in the case of an emergency?
In the case of an emergency, first aid will be provided by our teachers, all of who have completed respective training courses. Should the circumstances so require, immediate medical assistance will be sought and the parents notified accordingly.

Can a child who is ill be brought into the School?
According to our policies, children who show signs of illness are not allowed to attend the School.

What is the age of children attending the School?
We provide child care and educational services to children aged twenty two months and up to five years.

How do we keep parents informed about their child’s day and activities?
Information about each child is provided by our teachers on a daily basis through face-to-face contact as well as by e-mail and telephone. Read more about communication with parents on our web page www.kidzcorner.pl under “Parent Zone”.

How are trips outside the school and other out-of-school activities organized?
Children can be taken out of the School on trips only with the parents’ prior written approval. In accordance with our policies, daily walks and short trips outside of the facility terrain do not require parent approval.

How is the child tuition paid?
We normally invoice the child tuition fees at the beginning of each month. These are payable by wire transfer.

What is the list of supplies to be brought to school?
The child should bring to school: indoor shoes, change of clothes in case of an „accident”, tooth paste and a tooth brush.

Is the School registered with the Registrar of private schools and preschools?
Yes, the School is certified to operate as a private facility with registration number 30/PPN.
