Groups

There can be maximum 18 children in an age group supervised by two qualified teachers – a Polish and an English teacher.

Pick-up and drop-off

We maintain an on-line register of parents/guardians as well as persons authorized to drop-off and pick-up children from school. We check the identity (picture identification) of all persons picking up / dropping off children and compare it with an updated file of names of authorized persons, as provided by parents in the registration documents and on-line records. No child is released to an adult without proper authorization.

Medical standards

Each member of the school faculty goes through a thorough medical examination prior to getting employed and periodic examinations thereafter. Staff members are not allowed to work, while they are ill.

At the School we maintain a complete written record for each child in our care. All health records, immunization records and emergency contacts are kept up to date and easily accessible in case of an emergency.

Hygiene and safety standards

Our teachers and associates undergo internal trainings on maintenance of high hygiene standards and safe handling and storage of food products in compliance with HACCP rules. No hot drinks of any kind are allowed around children, electrical outlets are plugged with outlet caps, appliances are out of reach of children, temperature of the hot water at sinks will not scald and food temperature is automatically monitored to prevent burns.

We have procedures in place concerning cleanliness and preventing the spread of germs. According to our Hygiene Regulations, staff members are required to meet specific personal hygiene requirements and to maintain the cleanliness of surfaces that children come in close contact with in a prescribed way.

Furniture and toys

The child furniture is sturdy and stable. There are no sharp corners. Toys and learning areas are carefully arranged. Equipment is monitored on an-going basis to ensure it is in good working order.
